Successful Kentucky coach steps down
Chris Moore, who guided the girls’ soccer team at Sacred Heart (Louisville, Ky.) to state titles the first three years he coached, resigned, according to the Courier-Journal. In six seasons as head coach, Moore’s teams compiled a 94-31-18 record and made four state final appearances, winning three in a row 2007-2009.
Louisville adds six transfers
Louisville confirmed Wednesday that six transfers have enrolled in the spring semester: Ricky DiPasquale, from Roberts Wesleyan, Mitch Lurie, from Portland, Derek McCaffrey, from Boston University, Nolan Moore, from Cal Poly, James Ockford, from Mount St. Mary’s, and John Strong, from Virginia Tech.
